You purchase a Vintage Times Gift Certificate in the amount that you anticipate your budget to be for this occasion, increments of $1000 up to $5000 are available*

We then issue you the individually numbered Vintage Times Gift Certificate and with it we give you a ** free "Engagement Ring" to use for the proposal! Both the free engagement ring and your Gift Certificate will be sent out to you AusPost Platinum Express ASAP.

Once you have "done the deed" just visit the website or come into the shop with your perspective bride and you can choose the ring together!  Your partner keeps the Special Occasion Engagement Ring you have given to her as a momento of the Magic Moment and then together you select the ring that her heart desires! (and you're the hero!) Simple! 

Things you should know first: 

Gift Certificates are valid for all items in stock including sale items and are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. 

Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash nor are they refundable. 

Total value of gift certificate must be used in a single transaction (multiple items in a single transaction is acceptable).

*The Engagement Ring is a gift to you from us and is free of charge. You select your free ring from the rings available at the time of purchase. Sorry, but we cannot guarantee that we have exactly the right size in these Free Engagement Rings. They are costume jewellery and are not re-sizable by a jeweller.

Vintage Times recommends that you choose a Free Engagement Ring larger than the left ring finger.  We suggest this because your bride will likely want to keep and wear the ring as a momento but will wear it on a different finger.  This finger will almost certainly be of a larger size and so a larger momento ring will fit better. 

We will include a free ring sizer in the package that you can install yourself. Your bride will then be able to wear the momento engagement ring immediately! (easy!)

**You can buy multiple gift certificates. Consider purchasing a smaller amount than you are budgeting since the total value needs to be used in a single transaction. You can always "supplement up” the budget on the day using paypal online or using credit card or cash at the shop.
