Cartier Tank watch, Manual wind movement, Circa 1970, Maroon, Burgundy coloured dial. This Cartier watch features a vermiel case, signed Cartier and stamped .925 Argent and 20M plaque D'Or, confirming that the case is solid silver with a 20 micron plating of gold. The caseback is also fully signed with the correct hallmarks and serial number. There is plating wear to the lugs as would be expected in a 40 year old watch.  This is more obvious in the pictures than in "real life" but it does bear noting.

The all original Burgundy coloured dial is in very good condition. Movement is of course manual wind and the 17 jewel Cartier signed movement was recently serviced by my watchmaker and is keeping excellent time. The trademark Blue Sapphire or Cabochon crown is original to the watch.

The case measures 23.5mm wide by 31mm long and is supplied on an original high grade black lizard band which has been used.  As some of our customers want the original band we have left it but will supply a new band to go with the watch in the colour of your choice, (depending on stock available), Genuine Cartier buckle.
