Vintage Tanzanite engagement ring, Handmade Filigree setting from the 1930s This lovely ring is an Antique ring with a new stone, Tanzanite in this case, set into the old mix 14ct yellow and white gold. It is very, very unusual in that the gold is really a very pale yellow gold. We had it polished to obtain it's true colour and found that the artist jeweller that made the ring decided on a soft yellow gold to make the setting. In all our years we have never seen a ring of this colour. Truly a statement piece!
