If you are or you know a Collector of Art Deco, of Bakelite, or Celluloid, or Brooches. You should not pass this one up as it is unlikely that you will see another except in a Collector or Specialty Bakelite Book.
At 90-100 years old the brooch the brooch does show normal wear and use. There are some Marcasites that have fallen out over the years but because of the drilled in design their absence does not detract from the brooch. And while there is some wear to the paint it is in remarkable condition given its age.
Measures approximately:51mm x 35mm
Vintage typical, "C" type Clasp, possibly replaced at some point.
