Antique Old Mine Cut VS Diamonds in white gold engagement ring

Lovely White gold ring in 14ct with 3 Antique Old Mine Cut Diamonds set in to a square corner cap with 1 Old Mine Cut Diamond grain set each side of the centre stone in a Marquise shape top. There are Swept up solid pointed shoulders to suppor the lovely VS Diamonds on a 1/2 round 1.03mm band. NOTE: Given the construction techniques used in this ring we state that it is a newer construction than the Antique mined stones are. At some point an Antique Diamond jewellery piece was handed down through a family most likely to be used as an engagement ring. As often happens, that peice of jewellery, which held Old Mine Cut Diamonds cut in the late 1800's to early 1900's, was taken apart and the Diamonds used to manufacture this ring. The stone cut is definitely Old Mine Cut and the construction of the setting is newer. Although this is not at all unusual, it does bear noting given that the stones are antique, the ring vintage.
