Art Deco Ceylon Sapphire & Diamond ring in a diagonally set, square front, flush fit to finger. Lovely old ring... This is an 18ct yellow gold and Platinum 17 stone Sapphire and Diamond engagement or right hand ring. The Square Sapphire is diagonally set with a mill edge rub over set and surrounded by 16 single cut Diamonds scalloped edge grain set with a solid pointed shoulders on a 1/2 round 1.76mm band. The Sapphire is 4.3 x 2.93 and is approx. 0.60 cts and is moderately bright, mid blue, Natural Ceylon type Sapphire that is moderately included with some surface reaching however these do not affect the stability of the ring or stone. They are a natural part of untreated, uncorrected stones. Diamonds: 16@ 1.6mm=0.27cts H SI Ring weight=2.8grams Handmade, although priced and valued in existing condition with normal wear setting / prong wear will be addressed in the resizing process
