As often happened in the depression era, paste stones were integrated into yellow gold jewellery using the latest technology (lab created stones). Men had not been in the mines throughout WW1 and there was low demand for jewellery and so with it went demand for jobs in the mines. And so, synthetics became a part of jewellery history. Today synthetics are used in different ways than was then. Depression era - necessity, today, not so much. In any case, we sell them as we find them - unique and authentic to history!
