Cherry Red, reverse carved Bakelite brooch with Fern Like inclusions as in Amber, Art Deco, C1930's. As you look inside of the transparent Cherry Bakelite you can see that they have put plant matter into the Bakelite during the curing process. This gives the brooch a look like you would see in Natural Amber pieces from the same era. It is additionally carved diagonally across. Very easy to wear, great size to keep you winter or summer scarf in place. Dimension - 26mm length x 77mm
