Lovely Art Deco 14k White Gold filigree Sapphire engagement ring. As was common in the Art Deco era, Lab created stones we commonly used in particular when there was a need for a square, rectangular or triangular calibre cut stone was required. This “state of the art” technology (in the 20-40's) enabled jewelers to be able to use semi precious synthetics in jewellery and prevented losses incurred from cutting natural stones in such small and geometric shapes.
This lovely blue Synthetic Sapphire is set into a lovely and intricate filigree setting which has been acid tested and determined 14k.
Great value for an Art Deco ring.
