Stunning Vintage 1960's 24ct Smokey Quartz, colour of Madeira Citrine, Mad Men era yellow gold cocktail ring.
This Smokey stone looks just like a Madeira Citrine which is what we thought it was when we purchased it. Although the value is similar and both stones in the Quartz family, most Citrine is actually heated amethyst. When heated, it then has a reddish tint like this stone. (We have all stones tested by a lab to ensure accuracy).
It is a Fabulous Mad Men era jewellery / cocktail ring and a stunning statement piece.
