Vintage Cufflinks in Ivory and Black enamel with Tuxedo, double oval with diamond feature. We are attributing these to Nils Eric Elvic, Oslo, Norway. Vintage Cufflinks by Aksel Holmsen triple Diamond design within a double oval either end in Black enamel with open inlet for "peek a boo" to the sleeve fabric. Very elegant and unsual design from the late 40's- these links are reminiscent of a Tuxedo front. 18ct Gold washed Sterling Silver. These Norway double-sided cufflinks in sterling silver with a gold wash with the hallmarks "925 SNE" and "Sterling Silver Norway" on inner swivel post. The cufflinks are made with the French Guilloche Enamel process which gives gorgeous bright color and depth to the enamel. This process involves the application of fine coloured glass powder onto the Silver cufflinks that has been etched with a lovely and intricate design. The links are then kiln fired and the process is repeated until the depth of colour and translucence is achieved. This process is what gives these enamel cufflinks such visual depth. Very fine. Easy to put on! The connector is double sided with hinges on one side allowing this side to fold down flat to the center post so that the wearer can simply slide one side straight into the cuff. Easy to put on. .
